Salman Khan’s 50th birthday bash was no ordinary affair. In fact, there was another mega star at the party, no less than Salman himself. It was his three-tier, floating birthday cake, created by the team at Le15 Patisserie.
This gorgeous and delicious 50-kilo decadence costs a whopping Rs 1 Lakh! Well, when a sister like Arpita Khan wants something super special for bhai, it’s got to be grand, yummy and expensive.
50 years of celebrating Bhai, 27 years of knowing & growing up with him. Any amount of words cannot describe him . All I would like to say Is I am blessed to have him in my life as a brother, father, friend and pray to God to shower me with the same blessing not only in this lifetime but in all to come
The dining area of the event was decked up with Salman Khan's pictures from the past and present
“Especially the food. Arpita wanted to surprise her brother with great food on his birthday. Therefore she selected the menu as per the actor’s taste,” says a source associated with the event. Served by Ranjeet Catering Services, the food comprised of Chinese, Thai and Continental with starters that included stir fried mushrooms in red wine sauce, Thai basil fish, grilled chicken roulades, Korean barbecue chicken, roast lamb with black pepper among others. Whereas the main course consisted of dishes like grilled fish in caper sauce, wild mushroom and sundried tomato risotto, spaghetti in bolognaise sauce, massaman prawn curry to name a few. The food session ended with yummy desserts which had an entire section of mouth watering pastries.
The source informs that Salman who loves binging on non-veg kebabs and butter chicken also relished Thai food and was seen enjoying Chinese cuisine aswell.
Interestingly, Ranjeet Caterers have been Khan’s favourite and have been serving the family since four years. Be it the Holi party or the Eid bash, the caterers have been offering a variety and continued to do so as they served the actor for the fourth time consecutive on his birthday.
Here's Karisma Kapoor with Mailaika Arora, and her sister Amrita Arora at Salman's birthday bash. Trust Malaika to always strike a stylish pose!
Wherever there is Bhai, there are pretty ladies! Right!
Neelam and husband Samir Soni look too happy to strike a pose with Bhai!
